Quantas Accreditation Body For Certifying Bodies (QABCB) is an Independent, International Accreditation Body (AB). It works to serve the global communities of businesses and consumers. QABCB accredits appropriately qualified independent third party Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) such as Certification Bodies, Inspection Bodies, Testing & Calibration Laboratories and Medical Laboratories to ensure that their competence to carry out specific tasks is as per the International Standards & the Benchmarks. QABCB Accreditation is voluntary in nature.

United Accreditation Foundation (UAF) provides accreditation to certification bodies for various management system schemes as per ISO/IEC 17021 as well as Human health care management system scheme and Association of Health Providers(AHPI) Scheme- Green and Clean hospital management system scheme (GCHMS-Part I) for Hospitals and Green and Clean hospitality management system scheme (GCHMS-Part II) for safe and Healthy workplaces, Personnel certification bodies as per ISO/IEC 17024, Inspection bodies as per ISO/IEC 17020 based on an assessment of their competence as per its criteria and in accordance with UAF and international standards and guidelines.

The Ghana Maritime Authority is under the general direction of the Ministry of Transport with the objective of providing the Ghana Government with the machinery which will enable it to satisfactorily and efficiently regulate activities of boat operations and safety of navigation in the Inland Waterways; as well as superintend and coordinate the functions embodied in the Ghana Shipping Act, 2003 (Act 645).

The Petroleum Commission was established by an Act of Parliament, 2011 (Act 821) as a result of hydrocarbon discoveries in commercial quantities, to regulate and manage the utilisation of petroleum resources and, coordinate the policies in the upstream petroleum sector.

The function of the Authority is to register vessels, enforce ship safety requirements and constantly monitor and improve standards. It also represents The Bahamas at the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and other international bodies such as the European Commission and the US Coast Guard.

The Panama Maritime Authority (PMA) is an autonomous agency of the Panamanian government established on February 1998 to integrate and coordinate the maritime services offered by Panama to the international shipping industry of trade and logistic. Since then, the PMA collaborates with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to reaffirm the positioning of the Republic of Panama as a world leader in trade, commerce, transportation, logistics activities, services, industry expansion and maritime traffic to maximise growth and sustainable economic development in the country.
